To start the weekend out Keith and I went booster seat shopping and we couldn't find anything cute for a girl! Brookelyn-Grace has to have one asap! She is 19lbs 13 0z and her baby car seat only goes up to 22lbs at 27 inches..and she is most definitely 28 inches and her little feet are starting to come over it! Everything was online so I think me and my mom are going to go to Birmingham tomorrow and look :) While we were looking around Jasper we decided to get Brookelyn-Grace some new pajamas. In like a week she has already grown out of her 9 month clothes and she is only 7 months! So basically she is now wearing 12 MONTHS! I was so shocked! They have such cuter clothes though! :) She is way bigger and more advanced for her age..(That's what Dr. Goldsmith says's..so I'm not just being bias!) So this weekend Brookelyn-Grace started clapping her hands together and saying yahhhh. It is so funny. If she does something that she thinks is funny or that we think is funny she will do it! She is so smart! So that's her new thing and she loves to repeat it like 1,000 times in less than a minute! I love it! :) Her voice is almost back to normal :) thank goodness! She is most definitely a mama's baby for sure! I can't leave the room for nothing! Keith had been gone all day..from like 6-6 because he was helping a friend do some work so I had Brookelyn-Grace all day. Well when Keith got home I thought yes..I will get a little break..(I THINK NOT!) She wanted Keith at first but then when she noticed I had left the room everything hit the fan! I had to go to my car though and by the time I had walked back in the house she was crying so hard that she was making her self gag..So as soon as I got her she quite! It was so sweet though because I love that she is a mommy's baby! Oh she also ate crackers and pancakes today..of course mashed up really good minus syrup! But she is eating everything and anything off the table! (as long as its not dairy) Oh and you can't pry her sippy cup from her hands! She has it all day long! She loves her sippy cup! I've been having to use those bulky babies ones but I'm ordering a cute one Monday with her name monogrammed on it..Maybe she will be able to hold it :) Dr. Goldsmith said she wanted her to use it as much as possible and would like to see Brookelyn-Grace drinking her milk out of it by 91/2 months so we can go ahead and get her off the bottle and passy before one! (Wow that's scary!) She's a good doctor though! I don't think I'll take away the passy yet though not until one :) but anyway those are my random thought! :)

Laryngitis!

Brookely-Grace's voice has been getting so raspy here lately. Well last night she completely lost her voice! You couldn't hear her when she talked or cried! So it really freaked me out so Keith and I ended up having to take her to the After Hours Clinic because Urgent Care was closed. The doctor told us that she had Laryngitis! I mean seriously she is always sick! Poor Baby :( I wish I could take her sickness away and just take it myself! Anyway she has a new medicine that she started on this morning so I hope it works. Then the doctor tells me to watch her breathing because her throat is swollen and if her neck muscles start straining then that means shes not getting enough oxygen. I asked, "could that happen?" and he said, "its unlikely." I mean seriously why would he tell me that! Is he stupid! That really freaked me out! So mine and Keith's game plan.... He sleeps, I stay up all night and watch her sleep then go to work in the morning. Keith stays home and watches her today and then I come home at lunch and sleep! I am work right now and I seriously can't even function! I feel like I have something wrong with me!!!!! (What a night!)

7 Months

Brookelyn-Grace turned 7 months today! Wow, she is really growing up fast!!! It just seems like yesterday that we were bringing her home :) She is so smart too! I am a very proud Mommy! She is getting to be so spoiled rotten! :) I mean it couldn't be all the grandparents and my grandparents! (ha ha) She has developed this new thing now where when she wakes up she has to have me and only me. She will cry if I hand her to Keith or anyone else. When she gets good and awake she will go to anyone, but when its nap time or she's getting a little sleepy its back to me :) I love that! It really melts my heart! Also if she is playing with her toys or in her jumper and I walk out of the room she acts like I'm never coming back! She will cry, kick and scream! So now when I need to use the bathroom (god forbid) or do anything I haft to sneak out! ha ha I love it though! She is most definitely a mama's baby!!! :) Also I forgot to mention when we went to the doctor last Wednesday they said she is in the 90 percentile range now. Meaning if there were 100 babies in one room her age that she would be bigger than 90 of them and 10 would be bigger than her. This does not mean she is over weight or anything like that it just means that her weight and height are not normal! lol She is a tall baby! Meaning she is not going to be short like her mommy at all! ha ha.

Star Quality?

I finally ordered Valentine cards for Brookelyn-Grace yesterday! They are adorable! So I will be sending them out soon...(The 1st of Feb) She is so adorable! I'll post the picture to show the one I used. It's not a close up face shot but her smile is priceless! Also you can see her teeth! I love this picture! She is so funny! She is the happiest baby in the entire world! She is smiling from the time she wakes up until the time she goes to sleep. Well on another note I have been searching and searching for baby auditions everywhere. Keith said we should take her to at least two a year. They have them everywhere! We have looked at some in Tennessee and Atlanta :) Also Tab (which is awesome and works for CMT in Tennessee) is calling some agents that she knows to see if we can get set up an interview or audition time to bring Brookelyn-Grace too. She can find people that are needing babies for commercials, t.v or even music video's. I sent Tab so many pictures today, because she's gonna send them out :) I would LOVE Brookelyn-Grace to get to be on t.v or even in a commercial in the background ha ha. I know Tab will be able to work her magic though. I mean seriously she has met almost any Country music singer alive, plus partied with Billy Ray Cirrus at his HOUSE! Also she helped put together the CMT music awards show! (I mean am I bragging on Tab or what!?! ha ha) No, but Tab is a great friend! A friend you can depend on and that will do anything for you! Also Keith and I have talked about the whole pageant things and decided that we will do a pageant this May. It will be the Little Miss Walker County Pageant :) We decided to do pageants until she is about two because she will not know the difference if she wins or not. We want do it after two though because my little sister Kaitlynn is heart broken when she doesn't win and I don't want that for Brookelyn-Grace! I know she is beautiful and I don't need anyone telling me that judges pageants! But I am going to do it now because of pictures and memories :)

I LOVE MY BROOKELYN-GRACE!

I had a wonderful weekend! Keith and I spent Friday-Monday hanging out at the house doing NOTHING & I LOVED IT! We spent so much time with Brookelyn-Grace this weekend and she is doing so many new things! I can ask her, "where is Mommy's nose?", "where is Mommy's eyes?", and "where is Mommy's mouth?" and she can show me each one! She is so smart! Of course I'm sure I've already told everyone that she says bye, bye and waves..and if not I'm telling you now :) Well we played, watched t.v and told stories all weekend. I can really tell that I'm starting to get separation anxiety with her really bad. If you know me then you know that I am like upssed with my mother. I have always had separation anxiety toward her lol. I am not even exaggerating. I can't stand for her to go out of town or on trips without me going too. I feel sick the entire time she is gone and I have always done that ever since I can remember. When I was younger I would make myself sick and cry so she would come home. I've always said that I hoped Brookelyn-Grace felt the same way about me :) But since Brookelyn-Grace I have kind of let my anxiety toward my mother go a little and I can tell its all focused on Brookelyn-Grace. I swear I'm like OCD about my mom and Brookelyn-Grace. What made me realize it was Keith and I went to Beth's and Ray's Sunday night. I had been with Brookelyn-Grace the entire weekend and when I went to drop her off I had such a sickness feeling in the pit of my stomach. It took me 30 minuties to leave her and the whole time on the way I was tearing up. I mean seriously...I am a retard..I knew she was fine and was going to be fine but I wanted her with me. So we get to Beths and have a great time....time much needed....I love hanging out with BG & Raymond! :) Ray is Keith's FAVORITE! but anyway I ended up having a good time! I wish I could stay home with Brookelyn-Grace everyday! I miss her so bad when I'm at work :(

Ear infections & losing weight!

Well we went to the Dr. yesterday and Miss Brookelyn-Grace has two infected ears! I hate it! So she has to take amoxicillin twice a day. Poor baby! Well then we headed over to Brookwood Village Mall to do some shopping for Keith. He wanted some clothes from American Eagle so we shopped. Of course I didn't buy anything because I refuse to buy anymore clothes until I drop all this weight! I swear it takes forever! I have been going to the gym now for almost two weeks and I fill like it is just taking forever! I have lost in total 4 1/2 lbs last week and almost 4 lbs this week which isn't bad it's just not what I want to lose. I want to lose like 10 lbs a week ha ha. No but the dieting and exercising isn't hard just waiting for the results is! I can tell though that I have lost more! I'm so ready to be back to my pre-pregnancy weight of good ole 125! Also I have to be in a friends wedding come May 16th so I haft to be back to where i was originally at!!! At least the dresses are BLACK! ha ha.

Omg Brookelyn-Grace is AMAZING KEITH AND I EVERYDAY! she is so SMART! Thursday night we started working on waving bye and saying bye, bye. Well Friday night we decide lets go out to eat well I get my stuff and I say Bye, Bye Brookelyn-Grace. She sticks her hand up and waves and says Bye, Bye just as if she was an adult! She didn't open and shut her hand like most babies but just WAVED and said BYE, BYE! I could have fainted! So I immediately grab the camcorder and she is just having a field day waving and saying bye, bye! It was amazing! She is so smart and she is really catching on to a lot of things! So Keith and I go over to Tab's and I tell her about it. Tab was in shock because most babies do not do that at her age. It is usually anywhere from 7 1/2 to 9 months before they accomplish waving or saying bye, bye! So it never entered my mind that she did that so early! I loved it! So Saturday we have been working on asking her where are nose is and eyes are. We did that all day Saturday and Sunday. So come Sunday night I asked her, "Where is mommy's nose?" well she grabbed my nose. Keith and I looked at each other like NO WAY! So I asked her, "Where is mommy's eyes?" and she about pulled all my eye lashes out! WE WERE SHOCKED! So I ask her. "Where is Brookelyn-Grace's nose?" and she grabbed her nose...She didn't grab her eyes though when I asked her where they were, but WOW! I MEAN REALLY! ARE YOU SERIOUS? How smart is that! So I know this sounds crazy but I have been doing a lot of research about babies and their brains. From birth babies brains are constantly absorbing everything and from ages 0-5 their brains are thriving!! A babies brain stops growing as much at age 5. So I know this sounds crazy but Keith and I have decided to buy flash cards with numbers and sight words on them. Were going to go over them every night for at least 10-20 min. I think this will help her and maybe she will be reading by age 2! I know this sounds crazy but go do some research and you would be amazed at how many kids could read by various ages because their parents intervened at such an early age! :)

She is getting so BIG!

I swear Brookelyn-Grace amazes me everyday! She is trying to crawl so bad! I seriously think its only days until she is crawling! :) So exciting & so sad. Oh I forgot to tell everyone that Brookelyn-Grace started holding her bottle over Christmas! I was holding it one day for her and then all of a sudden she moved my hands and just started holding it! It was so sweet! She is such a doll face! :) Well I finally got her a Valentine pillowcase dress made! :) It is so cute! Were gonna take her picture in it this week and then order some Valentine cards to send out :) I love little projects! :) I swear it takes me forever to do them and make them, because I have NO TIME!!! Oh I also made her a beautiful pink and brown polka dot dress too, but I haft to go have it monogrammed sometime this weekend! :) It is adorable! I'll try putting up some pics tomorrow :) I can't wait for the weekend! I am so TIRED! I started the gym, Frontline Fitness Monday and I have been working out all week at lunch. I feel like I have been going there for like a month lol.. I love it though! It is so convenient since I work right here downtown. It's nice though! I am so glad that I am going! I can't wait to get back to my PRE-BABY state! I have SO many clothes in my regular size I just want know what to do with myself getting to wear all my clothes again! :)

More MILESTONES & randomness!

YAH! Brookelyn-Grace is doing so much! She has officially started holding her bottle by herself! :) She even holds her big bottles! :) Can you tell I'm proud? (ha ha) She also making the funniest sounds and doing all kinds of things with her lips! It is so so cute! Keith will make noises with his mouth and she will repeat them! After she repeats them she gets shy I believe because she will burry her face in him! It is the sweetest! She has also started crying when Keith and I leave the room. I love it! :) It melts my heart! She is just precious! She is also saying "Dada" and "momma" like crazy! I love it! It is so sweet to hear her say that! Well she is almost out grown her infant car seat! Keith and I are going car seat shopping this week to buy a new one :) She is getting so big! I just cant believe how big she is getting! I mean 6 months has come and gone fast! Just think 6 more months and she will be celebrating her 1st birthday! Wow! That will be strange! Oh Brookelyn-Grace is also going to town in her walker! She can only go backwards right now but it is so funny and sweet to watch her cruise around the house! :) Well were still not in the house! I know your thinking, "seriously when are they going to get in their house?" Trust me, were wondering the same exact thing! One day maybe!?!?! Well I'm starting the gym today! Yah! I am so ready to get back in shape or at least to where I was before baby ha ha! Well enough randomness!

Happy New Year! Out with the old, in with the new?

So this new year has just started out HORRIBLE, besides Keith, Brookelyn-Grace and I all spending a fun family night on New Years! We watched cartoons, her new Tinker Bell movie, played with all her new toys and just hung out all night! It is probably the best New Years I have ever had! :) Then we learned that morning that Charlie Lovely passed away. He was only sixteen! He was diagnosed with Cancer on October 31, 2008...It's really sad!!! That's all I can really say about that.............Then on top of that my granny finds out that her brother has killed himself in Missouri on the same day7. So granny and paw had to drive out there so now we will be worried about them driving. I really thought that this year was going to be better, but guessing I was wrong. What a way to start the new year out...ugh! I know this sounds crazy but I am so superstitious...Have you ever heard "death comes in three" well there's two so kinda scary waiting to see the third...Everyone please pray for The Lovely family and my grandmother's family!
