THANKSGIVING WEEKEND...

Jeremy is doing much better! He was able to finally get out of the house today! I am so glad that he is feeling way better! The thanksgiving break was a long one and I really enjoyed it! Thanksgiving Brookelyn-Grace and I went to Uncle Jim & Aunt Donna Kay's house. Brookelyn-Grace had a great time & the food was wonderful! Afterwards Keith got Brookelyn-Grace for a bit and I went to pick up Hannah and Parker. Then me, Brookelyn-Grace, Hannah & Parker went to my Aunt Deb's for thanksgiving for my dad's side of the family. We had a great time! Jeremy was miserable all day that day! I brought him all kinds of goodies home, but he was barley able to eat at all. Brookelyn-Grace of course looked BEAUTIFUL! Her outfit was adorable! ;) Friday, I woke up at 2am and headed to MeMe's house where I picked up Brooke and Memmer. Then we headed to Wal-Mart for some good deals! My intentions of shopping Black Friday was to just get Hannah and Parker'S T.V's and a couple of gifts here and there, but I ended up finishing all my Christmas shopping in that one day! Of course I have picked up a couple of extra gifts for the kids here and there but I am now completely finished with Brookelyn-Grace, Hannah & Parker's Christmas. We got the kids so much for Christmas! We decided to start letting Santa just bring the big gifts. Maybe one or two presents, and we will take the credit for all the others ;)

last night Jeremy and I decorated our first Christmas tree together. :) I was debating on whether or not to do a baby tree or the traditional angel tree that I do every year. I had a couple people tell me to do both, so that is exactly what we are doing! I am hoping to get started on the angel tree tonight. We put the angel tree in the dinning room because it is so formal! It is going to be beautiful! Can not wait to get it decorated! Also we have so many decorations to put up!

Also I bought Brookelyn-Grace her first potty chair last night! I am so excited! I think that she will be easy to potty train! (fingers crossed!) This morning she kept saying poo poo, and when I sat her on the potty she tooted! Ha Ha! So I believe she has the gist of it! I think that is so adorable! ;) Also this morning she goes and gets her cereal and sits back on her potty while she's eating. I thought that was hilarious! She is such a funny little girl!!!

HERE ARE SOME ADORABLE PICS FROM OVER THE WEEKEND ;)

Surgery

So Jeremy had his surgery yesterday. Dr. Russell said everything went great! Jeremy actually surprised me after the surgery because he was ready to get out of bed and go home. If that were me the hospital would have to kick me out! Ha Ha This morning has been really tough on him. They always say the second day is the worst, and so far for Jeremy it has been. He has been so worried about not being able to go to Thanksgiving with me, but I just do not see him going. I think he just needs to stay in the bed and rest! I am so ready for the holidays! I am ready to decorate my house, put up the tree and wrap presents! I just adore the holidays! This year I just have so much to be thankful for and I hope years to come!!! Jeremy and I are going to buy our first tree Friday (Black Friday) We thought about doing a real one, but I just think the fake trees are way better at holding ornaments. I do not know if we are going to put the tree together as a family or if I will just do it myself. I do not want Jeremy to over do himself at all! I am also so ready to do my annual Christmas shopping on black Friday. I looove shopping for great deals! I think I am also going to order Brookelyn-Grace's kitchen today from JCPennys. It is so adorable! She is going to love it!
I also can not wait to watch the game Friday! 2 words....ROLL TIDE!!!

BUBBLES.......

Mississippi

We had a blast this weekend! Friday night we all stayed home, cleaned, relaxed and just enjoyed each others company. Saturday morning Jeremy got up and cooked us a big breakfast. After breakfast me, Jeremy, Brookelyn-Grace, Hannah, Parker & Brooke all headed to Mississippi. Jeremy and I had no idea that Mississippi was in our backyard! It is closer for us to drive to Mississippi than to drive to Birmingham! We loved it up there! It is not too crowded and they have a wonderful mall! They have a play place right in the middle of their mall. A play place that is for small children, which I love! Brookelyn-Grace had a blast! She rode the carousel, played in their play place and then we took all the kids to see Santa. Brookelyn-Grace would NOT go to Santa. She was scared to death! She did not cry, but she was latched on me! Ha Ha So Jeremy, me, Hannah, Parker, Brookelyn-Grace and Santa all did a group picture. He did the Peek-a-boo attack, that's what Santa called it. Ha Ha He just let us sit in his seat and then he came around the corner beside Brookelyn-Grace. She had no idea and the picture was BEAUTIFUL! Jeremy and I are going to use it as our Christmas card. It is so adorable! Everyone looked great in it! After some shopping at the mall we headed to eat and then back to the hotel room. Jeremy and I then went out shopping and got Hannah and Parker's clothes. Then Jeremy stayed in the room with Brookelyn-Grace and Parker while all the girls went shopping :) I got Hannah some Sperry's. Yeah, she was with me and saw them, but it would have been kinda hard to hide. So I just let her pick them out. We did a LOT of shopping! After shopping we headed to the hotel and went straight to bed. Sunday morning we woke up early ate breakfast and headed home. Yesterday I overheard Jeremy say the sweetest thing to Brookelyn-Grace! Brookelyn-Grace brought Jeremy a book to read. It was a princess book that her Aunt Jill got her for her birthday. This is what Jeremy said; "Do you know why you have a Princess book?" "Because you are a Princess". It was so sweet!!! Later that night Jeremy and I went to watch Blind Side, while Pop & Nona kept Brookelyn-Grace. The movie was GREAT! That was mine and Jeremy's first time to go to the movies together ;) We really enjoyed it and really enjoyed just getting out of the house! Well that was our weekend...It went by so fast! I wish the rest of this month would slow down! This week we will have so much going on...Jeremy is having surgery Tuesday so I will be off with him..say a prayer for him! ;)

So Much Going On!

Wow, A lot has been going on here lately...So prepare yourself....
Tuesday, Jeremy was suppose to have his elbow surgery but Dr. Russell had some complications with his prior patient. So after we had already got up at 4 a.m, took Brookelyn-Grace to daycare at 5:30, was seated and waiting at the hospital at 6 a.m, & Jeremy prepped and in the holding area for surgery we were notified that his surgery was canceled. We were a little irritated, but it was all good because we had no clue what that day was going to bring us. I guess his surgery being canceled was a blessing in disguise! After Jeremy was brought back into his room and was notified that surgery was canceled we started packing up to leave. I started to get really nauseated! I was constantly going back and forth to the restroom thinking I was going to be sick. By the time we got home I had to run to the restroom and thankfully let everything out aka toss my cookies (sorry trying not to be so graphic)I went straight to bed after that! I woke back up doing the same thing, but this time I was hyperventilating, hands & feet tingling. It scared me so bad that I called out to Jeremy. By the time he made it to the bathroom I was in the floor feeling like I was going to pass out! He immediately could tell I was sick and took me to the car and rushed me to Urgent Care. They did all kinds of tests on me and all they came up with was that I basically had a stomach bug. Later I got a text from Megan telling me it could be gallstones. She is so sweet! So glad that she texted me and let me know what it could be. So of course me, hating going to the doctor consulted in Jill instead. Jill is suppose to scan me today to check for gallstones and check my gallbladder. She had a take home machine that she uses. I am hoping that it is nothing serious! So basically Jeremy ended up taking care of me all afternoon. I guess that canceled surgery was a blessing in disguise! He was wonderful!!! He took such good care of me! I could not ask for any better!

In other news I finished a lot of my school work and turned it in to Athens last night. I am so glad that I am almost done with this course! It has really been time consuming with all the lesson plans, observations and just driving!

I am also dying to start Christmas shopping! I got Hannah and Parker a little something, but not much. I just hate to shop without waiting to see what Black Friday has to offer. I am such a thrifty shopper! We know we are getting them both 32in flat screens for their room, and of course I am getting Hannah the cutest clothes ever! I have found her tons of stuff from Hollister Co. I am also getting her some Wallabee Clark's. I think she will look too cute in them! Also I think I am going to get her a couple of things from Clinque..Like lip gloss, blush & some perfume ;)I swear she is my little protegee! I love that kid! We are going to get Parker some stylish, cool clothes too ;) I think we are going to get his at Abercrombie Kids over this weekend. Also were going to get him some kind of cool tennis shoe. Boys are so much harder to shop for. Especially since I know nothing about little boys. Ha Ha I am so glad that Jeremy is going shopping with me on Black Friday because I would be lost trying to buy Parker Christmas toys. I am getting Brookelyn-Grace the coolest kitchen ever! I think it is so adorable! She is going to love it! Plus I am getting her two baby dolls, clothes, shoes, a personalized sippy for her stocking and tons of little fun toys! I really disappointed that she will not be able to fit into a North Face this year :( She needs a North Face! Hopefully by next Christmas she will have her first of many!!! I am not going to say what I am getting Jeremy because he may read this..I am not that blond! Ha Ha!

The weekend holds a lot! We are getting the kids today and with Jeremy being off we should have a blast! I am so glad that he will be able to spend more time with the kids this weekend! Saturday after breakfast we are driving to Tupelo, Mississippi to meet up with MeMe & Grandpop to do some Christmas shopping. Were going to take the kids to their awesome mall and let them see Santa and pick out everything they want. Of course that means we will be going behind them buying whatever it is they want! ;) Then were going to get lunch, get a hotel room at this really nice hotel and hangout our room and then were going to head back first thing Sunday morning.

Just in case I do not get to blog again, since Jeremy's surgery is rescheduled for Tuesday the 24Th..here is what is on the agenda..Sunday we are taking the kids back home. I think Jeremy and I are going to get Pop & Nona to watch Brookelyn-Grace and we are going to go watch, The Blind Side. Then Monday we are driving to Birmingham to get some more Christmas shopping done. Tuesday is surgery day. Pray that all goes well for Jeremy!

Here are some pics to get you tickled! ;)

It's Been A While

This past couple of days have been chaotic! I have been so busy here lately! I have had a very sick baby. She has had walking phenomena & that has been an adventure in itself! She is getting much better though. One of the worst and hardest experiences I have had to go through! I have been doing observations at Maddox Middle School, which I loved! I only had to do 5 days though so that was good. I really enjoyed the teachers, class & students. I had to teach one of my lessons in Beth Borders class, & thankfully I did quite well! ;) She is a great teacher! I could so see myself teaching an eighth grade class after these observations!

We had the kids this past weekend. Jeremy had guard drill so It was me, Hannah, Parker & Brookelyn-Grace. That was an adventure on its own! One very sick baby, Hannah running small fevers and just trying to take care of everyone alone. Hard work..Not fun! Mom did get Hannah and Parker like 3 bags of the animal bracelets that all the kids are wearing. They were ecstatic!!!

Jeremy bought me tons of stuff from Kirkland's. Here are some pics of the stuff I got :)

The foyer entrance from the front door...missing one picture frame that broke :( and missing the mirror above it..got to hang it soon!

One of the plates I got. There is another one on the other side :)

A flower arrangement, plate & candle holder :) I still have got to hang this mirror too. Foyer entrance from garage.

One for each side of the fire place.

Also we got a new bedroom suit! IT IS BEAUTIFUL! It made our room!
Here it is :)

My messy closet! We put the dresser in the master closet! ;)

Pageant?

Pageant or not to Pageant, that is the question? I am thinking about putting Brookelyn-Grace in the upcoming pageant here in Jasper. She has been in two pageants and won both. Now that she is older and can walk on her own, I thought about doing another one? I am just not sure. Jeremy says no, because we do not need anyone to tell us she is beautiful, because we know she is, but I love pageants! It has nothing to do with having anyones approval. I just love getting her dressed up, pics, trophee's, crowns, memories & winning! Ha Ha I have done them with Katy-Bug from age 2-to-present and Brookelyn-Grace just loved being up there with everyone clapping her on at her last two she was in. She loves the attention! ;) I know Katy-Bug will be in this upcoming pageant, but I am not 100 % sure if I am going to put BG in it.

Also here are a couple of new pics I have taken :)

Halloween Weekend

This past weekend was full of fun! Friday after I got off work I ran to Walmart to order Brooke's cake. After about thirty minutes of arguing with Wal-Mart about a Twilight cake I ended up seeing Megan's mom and it was finally resolved. The woman that worked in the Deli did not want to print Brooke's cake because she said it had a copy write and it would be against their policy's and the law. Needless to say I resolved that issue because 1. It came from Face in a whole that has rights to Twilight. 2. Because Wal-Mart had already broke the law by allowing me to print the picture at their photo center. I would not let up. I made sure that I got that cake for my sister ;) I so should have been a lawyer like I was going to do first of all! Ha Ha Then after my chaotic experience at Wolly World I headed to the Jasper Mall to see one of my old best friends, Tab. She wrote a book about her brother, Charlie that was diagnosed with cancer and so sadly did not make it. I am so proud of her accomplishments and I know that Charlie would be so proud of his big sister! So I spent my Friday night reading Tab's book. I have got to say, it is the BEST book I have ever read! It was wonderful! Although it took me over an hour to read the ending chapter. I guess I kept putting it off like if I did not finish the book then it would all not be true. Charlie is a great writer though! He was very detailed in his journal and had me hanging on every word he wrote. Tab is also so BRILLIANT to have pieced together everything like she did. I am just so proud of her! The book signing was also packed out!!!! Jeremy passed out Friday night. He was not feeling to well so I cooked super, got the baby to bed and still continued to finish my book. It was a tearful night that's for sure. I sobbed throughout the entire book and at the last chapter....WOW...I cried so hard!

Saturday Keith got Brookelyn-Grace pretty early and carried her to Urgent Care because she picked up a little cough from daycare. I got ready and headed to my moms house for Brooke's birthday party. Her birthday is not really until the 6th of November, but she wanted to have it on Halloween because of the whole Vampire/Cullan/blah blah experience. She is in love with that Cullen boy! Ha Ha I tried to get

into it. I watched the movie & BLAH! It's about Vampires, something so fictional that It is hard for me to "just get" I like reality & actions movies more. Not the love, sappy or fictional. I am not knocking anyone for liking it. It's just not my cup of tea. So Brooke's birthday was great. I of course just gave her some money (a whole lot easier & you know everyone likes money!) Ha Ha Uncle Jim immediately started a cake fight that progressed to cake in hair, on clothes, etc... It was too much fun! I mean who really has cake fights! Ha Ha

After the cake war we headed to my dads house to help Katy-Bug get in her costume. Katy was a Vampire. This was her first time to ever be something scary. She is such a girly, girl like her sissy and this time she was SCARY! We also got Brookelyn-Grace ready. She was a sweet little black kitty cat! She looked adorable! I could not believe that she let me paint her a red little nose and black whiskers on her face. She loved it! We then all meet up at Uncle Jim & Aunt Donna Kay's house for our annual hayride. We never leave Heritage Hills. It is just so much easier to just stay in our own neighborhood. But I will tell you what everyone brought there kids to Heritage Hills this year. It was packed out! (They really do have the best candy & its safer!) Brookelyn-Grace loved the hay ride!!!! & I loved that she loved it! Of course it was a little cool outside so Jeremy drove behind us in my car so that we could put her in and out of the car just in case she got cold. She ended up driving a block in Jeremy's lap. I swear I'm a good mother, she never got it over 2 miles an hour Ha Ha! Then a little later we meet up with Amanda and got Hannah & Parker. They loved the hay ride. Parker looked so cute. He was a G.I Joe & Hannah...she just cracked me up! She is such a little tom boy! She was a three headed monster Ha Ha! After we did our hay ride a little longer we headed back to Uncle Jim's for a weenie and marshmallow roast. They had everything; two fire pits, food galore, music, drinks (for the big kids ha ha) and toys everywhere for the kids to play with. Dad left Katy-Bug with me and took Brookelyn-Grace because she was exhausted! Katy loves playing with Hannah and Parker so it turned out great! Plus it gave Jeremy and I a little alone time and me a Margarita ;) I believe this is the best Halloween I have ever had! I loved getting to see my little princess have such a great time!!! It made my night! I also made Brookelyn-Grace's Halloween trick-or-treat bag. I thought it would be so cute and I loved the fact that no one would have anything like it.

Here are some pics from Halloween night ;)

Sunday Brookelyn-Grace and I slept in a little. It was so sweet when I woke up because we were face to face and she was just smiling at me ;) I love that baby more than life itself! We were so sluggish that day. We both went ahead and got our baths and then I put her down for her nap. After nap time we headed to Pepito's for lunch with our favorite man, Jeremy! We had a great lunch! After lunch Brookelyn-Grace and I headed to Rylee's birthday party @ Skate Galaxy. Brookelyn-Grace had a blast! Aunt Deb took her out on the rink floor to dance to the Cupid Shuffle, which she loved! Aunt Deb won Brookelyn-Grace over Sunday!
Our new bedroom suit for the Master Bedroom. WE LOVE IT! IT SO MADE OUR ROOM! MORE PICS TO COME! (We also got the Armore & dresser!) & I have a lot of decorating to do now, which is good for me because that means it's Kirklands time! ;)
