MY LIFE!: TOBY

Brookelyn-Grace got her first dog, a Shihtzu puppy named, Toby. He is so adorable! We bought him from a very sweet couple out of Oxford. After we picked Toby up we took him to the pet store, and of course bought everything! After that we headed to my moms house where Brookelyn-Grace was. When we walked into the room with her little Toby she was ecstatic! I had been building this little puppy up to her all week, and finally she got to welcome him into our little family :) Brookelyn-Grace adores him! She will run through the house saying, "Toby get me". It is so funny watching him run after her. Ha Ha I was so worried about her picking him up, because I can remember my little sister Kaitylnn at her age picking up there dog by the neck. But thankfully she has only attempted to pick Toby up like that once, and Jeremy and I have been working with her on how to hold Toby. Most of the time we tell her that she is not allowed to hold him, but just pet him. He has really taken to Brookelyn-Grace. He follows her around everywhere she goes. Whenever she is in her bedroom she will yell for Toby and he will just come running. They play in her room for hours. At night Toby sleeps in Brookelyn-Grace's old play pin and of course cries to get in the bed with us, which usually happends. During the day we leave him in the kids bathroom with the baby gate up so he can still see out into the living room. He is already puppy pad trained and was before we purchased him. He is such a smart little puppy! We are all really enjoying having a dog! Hannah and Parker came up this past weekend and they loved him too! He is already spoiled rotten!!!
