Flying Jelly Beans!

This weekend went by so fast! It was filled with just a little bit of everything! My little sister, Brooke and best friend had her Senior Prom Saturday night. We followed them in there cute, cute limo to Botanical Gardens where I took some beautiful pictures!!! Then after they headed to do their prom thing Keith, me, Brookelyn-Grace and Meme went to eat at Olive Garden. It was so nice cheating on my diet! ha ha Now back to that good ole fat free stuff! Then we headed to Old Navy to do some quick shopping since we had to be back for Brooke's Senior Walk-Out. I got Brookelyn-Grace two outfits, socks and a ball! She had to have that ball! ha ha Keith gave it to her while we were shopping and when we got ready to check out she would not let it go! So we bought it! ;) Then we took Keith and Brookelyn-Grace home while we went to Senior Walk-Out and took pictures. Brooke had a great time! I am so proud of her and extremely sad at the same time! I will bawl my eyes out at her Graduation!!!! It's not long from now. I hope this time for her goes so slow so she can enjoy her high school days longer!!!

Sunday Keith woke up and went fishing and I stayed in the bed with the baby and we slept late! Loved it! It was just what I needed to make for a great Sunday. Then when Keith got home we got the baby ready for pictures at Sha's. We had the best time watching Brookelyn-Grace get her pictures made! I think this is the best pictures Sha has ever taken of her. She was so funny!!! We started out taking her pictures in her Easter dress with her beautiful bow that Kyla made!!! ;) The pictures were great! We brought her monogrammed Easter basket and put the live Easter Bunny in it! It was adorable! Then we got some family pics, one's with her on her hands and knees with wings on her back, her holding on to a ladder standing, then her dressed as a Bunny eating a carrot and the best picture ever...included a mixing bowl with Jelly Beans in it. We sat her inside the bowl then let her put the bowl between her legs. She would grab those Jelly Beans and head for her mouth, and me and Keith would haft to hurry and get them. Brookelyn-Grace started getting so mad at us that she was grabbing those Jelly Beans faster than we could even get them away from her and throwing them all over the studio!!! It was so, so funny! Sha kept saying if we would have had a video camera that we would have won America's Most Funniest Video's! We had a great time! Then we headed up to Slick Lizard in Nauvoo and got some fat free food and headed home.

Mommy's Night OUT!

Last night was great!!! Keith watched Brookelyn-Grace so that I could have a mommy's night out :) Kayse and I went out to eat with my step-sister, Stacie and her friends at Perico's. We had so much fun! I really enjoyed getting to spend time with her! We haven't been able to do that in so long!!! I love her!!! :) Well my partner in crime, aka Kayse and I also had a blast! I love her! We so get along so good! I would seriously consider her to be my best friend!!! Anyway..I'm not going to go into details...but we had a BLAST! :) FUN, FUN, FUN!

Walking

Yesterday was great! ;) Meme, me and Brookelyn-Grace went walking through the neighborhood. Brookelyn-Grace loved it! Although she couldn't keep her eyes off of her Cheerios that she ate the entire time we walked! lol. She loves it outside! I can't wait for all the trips to the park to play and have picnics!!! ;) I love being a mommy!

Easter Basket

Yah! I finally got Brookelyn-Grace's Easter basket back from Sew Simple today! It is beautiful!!! I love it!!! I can't wait for her to get her pics done with Sha Sunday! She is going to look so cute in her Easter dress and with her Easter basket. I think were going to do some inside and out, and then use the wings as well! :) I love Sha's pics! Brookelyn-Grace always does so good with her! I wonder what she's going to think about that bunny! I think it will be so funny to see her reaction. You would laugh out loud if you saw how she looks at ducks and dogs! ha ha! I am so ready to leave work today and go get her! Me and MeMe are going to take her strolling around the neighborhood today after work! She loves being outside! Yesterday when we got home she stayed outside for at least an hour before we ever went in! She loves getting in her stroller out in the garage! She also had her first Cherrio yesterday! I went and bought some of the baby Cherrios from the grocery store yesterday and when we got home I kind of crushed up about 10 Cherrios and she ate every bit of them! She then cried for more. lol She ended up eating probally half on the container! lol She loved those things! I didnt haft to even crush them up, but I a freak! I'm so worried about her chocking!

Teeth & Giggling!

Brookelyn-Grace's first top tooth started coming in over the weekend. It has already completely broke through the skin! I am so excited! Now she has three! :) It's so funny looking though because the other one is no where in site! I love her little white teeth!!! Brookelyn-Grace is also just giggling like crazy! She talks to her toys and then dies out laughing at herself. I am almost in tears in the morning driving her to her sitters because she will be in that backseat just a yappen! Then she will laugh out loud! It is so funny! Nothing has ever made me laugh so hard in my life! :) She is just plum precious! I love that little Monkey Butt!

This weekend was crazy! Friday night Keith and I went out to the Elks Lodge with Adam & Shenna, Wes & Kasey, Steve & Megan, and Jamie Prince! I love those kids! Saturday we stayed at home all day! It was a nice lazy day! Sunday Keith went to clean the house, Brookelyn-Grace and I went to my aunt Donna-Lynn's birthday party at Cabo's, and then off to Bennett's Bridal Shower. We had a busy weekend!!!

Thursday's 13!

1. I wish 4:30 would hurry and get here! I'm ready to go get Brookelyn-Grace!!!

2. You don't always get what you want! You just get what you need<--Although that sucks too sometimes!

3. Brookelyn-Grace will be nine months in 9 days!

4. Time has passed so fast!!! Where did my little baby go!?! In three months she will be 1! :(

5. Last night Keith and I were talking about how she will be one soon and I got so teary eyed! It makes me sad!

6. Keith is already ready for number 2! He's crazy! lol I can't share my love...not yet at least!

7. Ginger is having a girl! Yah! :) Nannie just texted me!

8. I love my job even though it comes along with the crazy's! lol

9. I have no clue what were doing tonight. Can't tan because I am fried!

10. I can't believe its not going to be put 60 something tomorrow! I'm ready for predictable weather! Summer weather!!!

11. This diet I'm on is awesome! :) Yah for me!!! :)

12. Today I have thought a lot about Jimmy! :( I miss him!

Brookelyn-Grace's 1st Pageant!

Brookelyn-Grace had her first pageant Saturday! I was so nervous! She had not a care in the world! She loved wearing her dress so much that when it was over she cried because I took it off of her! She had so many people that came to see her!!! It was just so sweet! She seriously had her own section of people..ha ha Kyla came which I thought was so sweet and she brought Sadi, which is so adorable! Well She did great when I walked her out in front of everyone. She seemed a bit shy at first and then all of a sudden the shyness went away and she started smiling and clapping! It was just so precious! Well after we made our entrance we went in the back to wait on the other contestants. My little sister Kaitlynn was in it and she did great too! So then it was our turn to come back on stage...I was seriously about to pass out! ha ha I wanted her to win so bad...It's not that I really care about the pageant but I just wanted the sash and trophy's to put in her room...ha ha Anyway so we get up there and they start calling out all these awards..out of for awards she got two! :) She got Most Photogenic and Prettiest Eyes..Which is a given! :) Then were waiting and they say 2nd alternate...and they call out another girls name..so I look at Keith and my mom and you can tell that we are about to pass out! lol..then they say 1st alternate...and its the other girl...at that time me, Keith, and my mom are smiling so hard that our mouth is hurting! lol..Then they say and your QUEEN IS......BROOKELYN-GRACE TOLBERT! I was so excited! Everyone started clapping and then Brookelyn-Grace clapped for herself! lol..Then after I haft to fight Brookelyn-Grace to take off the dress we get in the car and I start to look at her score sheets....There were three categories; facial beauty/natural, Poise/Personality, Eye Contact/Fashion...The highest you could score was 1-10...She scored a 10.4, 10.3, 10.4....There comments were, "Cute as a button & beautiful dress" I loved it! I am still on cloud 9! :) Very proud parent! I was a nervous wreck the entire time though! I loved it, but it's not something I plan on doing a lot! She has one more April 4th. The only reason I'm actually doing that one is because I have already ordered her an outfit! It's a summer wear or Easter dress attire pageant. So that should be fun right? Stress, stress, stress! :)
